Bio

Yu has been an Investment Specialist for the Emerging Market Fixed Income (EMFI) team at BNP Paribas Asset Management since 2021.

Before joining BNP Paribas Asset Management, Yu was with Allianz Global Investors as an Associate Product Specialist representing and covering the firm’s Asia fixed income suite of investment solutions. Prior to that, Yu was an Associate Investment Director with global investment advisory firm Cambridge Associates based in Singapore, and worked alongside public pension plans, endowments, foundations, and family offices on portfolio advisory and discretionary management mandates.

Yu has 13 years of industry experience. Yu began his career at Bloomberg LP in 2011, where he was an Analytics Specialist and Sales Associate for Southeast Asia markets. Yu holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from the National University of Singapore and is a CFA charterholder.
