FAQ

New investments with AXA IM UK Ltd

Why do you feature funds and strategies from AXA Investment Managers UK Ltd as well as BNP Paribas Asset Management?

As you may already know, AXA Investment Managers UK Ltd (AXA IM UK) was acquired by BNP Paribas Cardif, the insurance subsidiary of BNP Paribas, on 1 July 2025. As a result, AXA IM UK has merged with BNP Paribas Asset Management.

The full integration of our product ranges will be a gradual process. In the meantime, some funds will retain the AXA IM name and AXA Investment Managers UK Limited will remain as the named fund manager.

Has anything changed about the way you look after your investments following the merger of AXA Investment Managers UK Ltd and BNP Paribas?

There have been no changes to our investment approach or the way our funds are managed. We believe that there could be opportunities to improve the way we manage our investment funds as the two companies come together, but this will take time. We will be sure to let investors know when changes are coming.

How can I invest into your funds?

You can invest in our funds through a financial adviser, through a fund supermarket or investment platform, or directly from us.

Investing through a financial adviser

As an individual investor, we recommend that you seek financial advice before you decide to invest your money. Investment involves risk and you may not get back the amount you originally invested. A financial adviser can help you understand your own capacity for risk and find a fund that matches your saving goals.

You can find a financial adviser here. You can also find free, impartial information on the government backed site MoneyHelper.

Investing through a fund supermarket or platform

Our funds have different classes of shares or units aimed at the different types of investor who invest in our funds, with different levels of minimum investment and associated fees and costs. You can find details of the different share and unit classes on our fund centre or in the Fund documentation (KIID or prospectus). For the time being we have two fund centres, one for AXA IM UK funds at and one for BNP Paribas funds. In the coming months, we will merge these resources as the fund ranges come together under one name.

Fund supermarkets and platforms may have access to share and unit classes with lower costs than those available directly from us. Each fund supermarket or platform will also have different costs for the provision of their services.

There are many investment platforms or fund supermarket providers to consider. Boring Money provide a useful evaluation of investment platforms ISAs & Investment Accounts.
