SFDR RECLASSIFICATION OF SFDR ARTICLE 9 INDEX FUNDS INTO ARTICLE 8

BNP Paribas Asset Management is in the process of updating the SFDR classification of a number of its index funds to bring them in line with the current regulatory requirements of SFDR level 2.

The intention is to change the SFDR classification from Article 9 to Article 8 for the index funds in scope. For clarity’s sake, the BNP Paribas Easy JPM ESG Green Social and Sustainability Bonds is not in scope and will remain classified as SFDR Article 9.

The change of classification is subject to the validation of the next BNP Paribas Easy prospectus by the CSSF, the Luxembourg regulator, and will have no impact on the investment strategy.

Note: BNP Paribas Easy range sub-funds were not filed for registration with the CMVM in Portugal.
