Bio

Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and Global Head of Multi-Asset.

Laurent is CIO and Global Head of Multi-Asset at BNP Paribas Asset Management.

Laurent has joined BNP Paribas Asset Management following the acquisition of AXA IM in 2025. He’s responsible for all activities related to the management and performance of diversified portfolios invested in a discretionary manner across multiple asset classes (equities, bonds, cash, etc.) in order to optimise the return/risk profile.

He joined AXA IM in 2015 as International Economist, before becoming Head of Macroeconomic Research then, Head of the Quant Lab, focusing on quantitative research and became, in 2022, Global Head of Multi-Asset, AXA IM Core.

He had previously been working at the French Ministry of Finance (INSEE, Treasury, Budget) for ten years.

Laurent graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and holds an MSc. in Economics from the Paris School of Economics, Statistics and Finance.

Laurent is based in Paris.
