BNP AM

The sustainable investor for a changing world

Investment academy

At BNP Paribas Asset Management, we firmly believe that it is our responsibility to share our investment expertise with our clients. We know that learning is a continuous process and that our clients want to develop their knowledge of investment themes, asset classes, and related subjects such as risk control and regulatory issues.

To address this need, we developed the Investment Academy in 2009, specifically with the focus of bringing our clients the latest training on new challenges and innovations within the asset management industry.  Since then, more than 15,000 participants have attended Investment Academy training in the form of internships, seminars and full-week programmes in 30 locations around the world.

More recently, we have broadened our agenda to digital sessions and have taken virtual training to a new level with our Investment Academy Client Training Platform.  This exciting development allows us to continue to use the latest educational methods to engage and inspire with content across time zones and continents.

The Investment Academy provides unique access to a wide range of expertise, which combined with the resources of the BNP Paribas group enable us to offer a full suite of training opportunities.  In addition to our training programme and platform, we offer customised client training to meet the needs and interests of your organisation, as well as giving you the opportunity to discuss with our BNP Paribas Asset Management experts in small groups.

In a more standard e-learning set up, we can also offer access to the Intuition platform. This professional e-learning suite allows clients to learn, and refresh their knowledge on a number of various financial topics and has more than 150 tutorials covering everything from asset management and financial markets to regulation and sustainable investing. Should any of the training opportunities above be of interest to you please contact your BNPP AM representative for more information or for further discussion.

Investments are subject to market fluctuations and the risks inherent in investments in securities. The value of investments and the income they generate may go down as well as up and it is possible that investors will not recover their initial investment. There is no guarantee that the performance objective will be achieved.

Investing in emerging markets, or specialised or restricted sectors is likely to be subject to a higher-than-average volatility due to a high degree of concentration, greater uncertainty because less information is available, there is less liquidity or due to greater sensitivity to changes in market conditions (social, political and economic conditions).
