Paula joined BNP Paribas Asset Management in 2021, as a stewardship analyst. In this role, she is in charge of proxy voting, engagement with companies and public policymakers, as well as transversal projects.
Before joining BNPP AM, Paula spent six years at BNP Paribas’ Group Sustainability department, which coordinates sustainability initiatives across all functions and business lines. She worked on CSR communications and philanthropy before taking responsibility for conducting stakeholder dialogues on ESG issues. In this role, she notably managed BNP Paribas’ ESG ratings as an issuer, investor relations, as well as dialogues with advocacy NGOs and civil society.
Paula holds a Master’s degree in Risks, Opinion, and Strategic Communications from CELSA Paris Sorbonne University (Paris IV), and a double Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate and Institutional Communications Strategies and General Philosophy from Paris Sorbonne University (Paris IV). She also holds professional certificates from Cambridge University in Business Sustainability Management and from the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN) in Governance, Stewardship and Sustainability.
