16/06/2010 BNP Paribas Private Equity promotes two in its Fund of Funds team

Paris, 16 June 2010 – Jean-Marc Rivet-Fusil, 44, has been appointed Head of the Fund of Funds team at BNP Paribas Private Equity. He is assisted by Stéphanie Egoian, 39, who has been promoted to Chief Investment Officer. Together, they will form the Investment Committee.

Jean-Marc Rivet-Fusil will be in charge of defining and implementing the Fund of Funds strategy. Working closely with the relevant teams within BNPP IP, he will define and support the distribution of an offering suited to the needs of the various client segments.


He joined the team in 2007, as CIO for the Fund of Funds business. He previously spent over 11 years at Amundi (formerly CAAM CI), Access Capital Partners, Banexi Ventures Partners and Banexi Participations, working on funds selection, venture capital, buyouts and mezzanine financing.


Jean-Marc Rivet-Fusil graduated from AgroParisTech (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Industries Agricoles et Alimentaires) and holds a masters degree from HEC.


Stéphanie Egoian will be in charge of coordinating the fund’s investment strategy and defining and implementing a selection and investment process in accordance with international best practice.


Stéphanie Egoian joined the team in 2005, as Investment Director. In 1999, she joined BNP Paribas Private Equity as CFO at BNP Paribas Europe Telecom & Media Fund. She had previously spent five years at Crédit Agricole, as an Investment Manager in Paris and Rostov-on-Don (Russia) at Southern Russia Regional Venture Fund.


She graduated from the business school ESC (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce) Dijon.
